What a visit on Double Cove entail.
No fixed itinerary.
- Only good possibilities
Breakfast and Lunch is included in your stay. And Craig takes food seriously! Expect fresh, generous meals shaped around what you love to eat, what’s in season and whatever the local fishermen have brought in that morning. And if you don’t want to eat out for dinner he’ll gladly cook you a mouthwatering feast that makes you wonder whether you really need to go ashore again.
Dinner by Craig is €20 per person/night. See “Menu” for some of Craig’s previous creations.
Quaint villages or bigger ports? Popular anchorages or isolated bays? Crystal blue waters and endless sandy beaches? Chasing wind, or fish, or both? Bodil gladly sets the course according to your preferences. And as you are on holiday, feel free to change your mind any time along the way. Only the weather may override your wishes.
Fresh ocean air and the gentle rocking of the boat is the ultimate combination for a perfect sleep. For your stay, you will have the portside hull completely to yourself. This includes 2 cabins and 1 bathroom (though we thoroughly recommend the outdoor shower). Both cabins are equipped with blackout shades, mosquito nets, night lights and fans. The bathroom has swim & shower towels and all the main toiletries.
The aft cabin is a double bed. While the boat’s brochure describes the forward cabin as a double bed too, we want to be honest and say that for two people to sleep comfortably you either need to be very much in love, or… uhm…petite.
Craig and Bodil are happy for you to lean back and just relax while we do all the work. However, if you are an avid sailor or always wanted to learn, Bodil is very happy to share both the helm and her knowledge with you.
Or, if cooking is your form of relaxation, Craig will step aside and hand over the galley. Cook, make a mess and enjoy your meal. We’ll do the cleaning up!
Mi barco, Su barco (my boat is your boat). Unlike charter companies we don’t charge extra for stuff. If its on Double Cove, your are welcome to use it. Fishing rods, SUP & paddle, Dinghy with outboard, masks & snorkel is all yours to play with. Enjoy!
